Wayne McGregor is unquestionably one of the major figures of contemporary dance.  Whether choreographing for the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire or for the latest Radiohead music video, the man is a great believer in work which crosses the boundaries between disciplines, as witnessed by the productions of his company Random.

Formed fifty years ago, the Nederlands Dans Theater is a major company on the world choreography scene.  In 1978, the company’s younger sibling, the Nederlands Dans Theater 2 was developed as an incubator for young talent, with all its dancers under 23.
